Introduction
Technical and Management Institutions
of SGI, situated at Agra Mathura region presently
are running undergraduate and post graduate programs
to impart quality education. These institutions
have developed a good infrastructure to undertake
R&D activities.
The Research & Development cell has been set
up to provide administrative and managerial support.
The focused efforts are put to improve the teaching
and learning processes through effective use of
R & D tools. R & D initiative has wide
domain and sustained commitment to add to the
educational and teaching program in line with
today’s knowledge based economy. The system encourage
teaching methodology and R & D practices,
and is relevant to young students who desire to
have skills to become next generation innovators.
Research support activities aimed at developing
and integrating technologies both in advanced
emerging areas and in traditional sectors / areas.
Under this R&D activities, feasibility of
fresh ideas / concepts will be assessed for their
potential into useful technology / product output.

To motivate the faculty member
of the group for R&D activities in the
area of their interest. |

To promote Research and Training among
faculty through In-house funding/ sponsored
Research project. |

To promote B. Tech final year good projects
to carryout in phase manner by the students
in continuation till completion |

To develop R&D infrastructure and central
facilities for optimal resource utilization |

To promote co-operation between R&D
public funding institutions and liaison with
user institutions/companies for consultancy
and sponsored projects. |

To create environment for faculty/students
for opting live projects. |
|
To collaborate with institutions of higher
learning in India as well developed countries
for sand-witch programmes/ Joint research
projects.. |

To develop modules for summer training
for faculty of engineering colleges to upgrade
their knowledge and skill. |

To make efforts for setting up of entrepreneur
training centre with collaboration of SIDBI,
NRDC & NGO’s. |

To encourage faculty members of all the
disciplines in engineering/science /humanities
in R&D activities for their professional
growth. |
