Dr.R.C.Maheshwari
is the Advisor Corporate R&D of Sharda Group
of Institutions and was also  a
former Director of H.C.S.T. and professor at Indian
Institute of Technology, New Delhi. He did his
Ph.D. from I.I.T., Delhi in 1974 and a post doctoral
research at the Technical University, Karlsruhe,
Germany in 1975-76 under the DAAD programme. He
involves deeply in teaching, research for the
last 37 years in the areas of natural products,
Bio energy systems, waste management, drinking
water and technology transfer. Prof.Maheshwari
is an expert in the field of liquid/Supercritical
Fluid Extraction and Separation Technology. He
has operated several research and industrial projects
of diverse nature in the field of medicinal and
aromatic plants, renewable energy and SCFE Technology.
He has been actively associated with extraction,
processing and characterization of phytochemicals.
He has guided over 20 M.Tech and 26 Ph.D. students.
He has to his credit 4 patents and over 170 research
papers published in various Indian and International
journals of repute and have also authored number
of books. He was awarded Dr.Rajendra Prasad award
for writing best technical book in Hindi in the
year 2008. He was on the editorial board of many
scientific journals. He was an active member of
many national and international professional committees.
